A scorched vase hand made from a single piece of carved oak. The wood used here is a seasoned, almost iron-like beam from a farm. The bulk of the shaping was done with a Swedish carving axe (with many, many sharpenings!). It's big and heavy and would be ideal as a cetrepiece on a table, mantel or shelf. The scorching has left a deep rish black colour with a smoothbut textured surface.
It comes complete witha glass tube to enable use for water / fresh flowers.
