This 'Stone' bowl has been hand carved from a single piece of oak. It has a flowing rim which brings a clam-like quality to the piece, enhancing the natural feel of the bowl. The bowl has a light texture running inside and out which, when flattened down, compresses the fibres of the material gifting it a stone-like feel. This piece is free of oils and waxes enabling you to interact with the wood itself. Watch as over the years the wood subtly develops a depth and richness of character. It is truly a living piece that celebrates the natural qualities of the wood.
