'Stone' bowl #19

23cm x 10cm - A carved 'Stone' bowl from the design studio of wood carver Jamie Gaunt
 
This bowl has a light texture running inside and out which, when flattened, provides the bowl with a lovely stone-like quality. The 'Stone' feel was designed to bring a timeless element to the bowl which would fully allow the natural, organic material to be the primary focus. The bowl doesn't posses an oil / wax finish, so giving it new life as it develops over the years a deeper, richer quality.
